How do I calculate how many rolls of wallpaper I need?
We recommend using our online calculator or measuring your wall's total square footage and dividing by the square footage listed on the specific roll. Always account for the 'pattern repeat'—larger repeats require more paper. It is best to order an extra roll to ensure the same dye lot for future repairs.
What is a 'dye lot' and why does it matter?
Wallpaper is printed in batches called dye lots. Colors can vary slightly between different print runs. When you order from Mahone’s, we ensure all rolls in a single order come from the same dye lot to guarantee a perfect color match across your walls.
Do you offer physical samples before I commit to a full order?
Yes, we highly recommend ordering samples. Lighting and screen resolutions can alter the appearance of colors and textures. Most of our patterns have a 'Sample' option on the product page for a small fee.
What is your return policy on wallpaper rolls?
Unopened, resalable rolls in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of purchase, subject to a 25% restocking fee. Please note that samples and custom-cut murals are non-refundable.
How long will it take for my order to ship?
Standard in-stock orders typically process within 24-48 hours. Shipping times vary by brand and warehouse location, but most customers receive their wallpaper within 5 to 10 business days. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout.
Can I hang new wallpaper over existing wallpaper?
While possible, we do not recommend it. For the best results and longevity, existing wallpaper should be removed, and the walls should be cleaned, primed, and prepped to ensure the new adhesive bonds correctly.
